Richard Nicoll to Exhibit at Wicken Fen 26-28th May 2018

Richard Nicoll is holding an exhibition at Wicken Fen from the 26th to the 28th of May 2018 as part of the "Cuckoo Festival". This will feature award winning images along with new work not exhibited before all taken at the Wicken Fen nature reserve.

Richard Nicoll's images have won 5 awards at the Cambride Camera Club Annual Exhibition 2018.

CAMBRIDGE CAMERA CLUB EXHIBITION 2018

Cambridge Camera Club’s 2018 Exhibition is being held at The Pitt Building in Trumpington Street, Cambridge CB2 1RP. It commences on Monday 30 April and runs until Saturday 5 May. The Exhibition opens on Monday from 1pm to 5pm, and then from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

The Exhibition includes nearly 250 Prints and 250 Images shown on a widescreen TV, and more than 100 Prints from our Young Photographers competition.

We’d be delighted if you are able to come and see some of the fabulous work produced by our member’s and vote for your favourite Print. Entry is FREE.

Immediate Media licenses Cuckoo images for BBC CountryFile Magazine

Immediate Media have licensed images of a Cuckoo chick ejecting a Reed Warbler egg from its nest along with an image of a Cuckoo flying amongst the reeds at Wicken Fen. These images are all published in the May 2018 edition of the BBC CountryFile magazine.

Title: I never see anything at Wicken Fen...

Richard took up wildlife photography in 2010. Many people have said to Richard the above and to counter this idea he created a talk using images he has taken over the last few years at the amazing Wicken Fen Nature Reserve in Cambridgeshire. This talk explores what you could see at Wicken Fen if you take your time and are patient including birds (including seasonal migrants and some rarities), mammals and insects.

Time: 7.30pm
